Rosie: I went just last month over and there were dolphins in the bay. Right in the bay.
Sandra: In Tobermory Bay.
Interviewer: Oh wow.
Rosie: In Tobermory Bay. Beautiful, just jumping about.
Sandra: Did you get photo?
Rosie: Oh no, they weren't-- they weren't good 'cause as soon as they came up they went back down again. But there was a whole host of, um, photographers that had been sitting there and we were like "what are they looking for?" and then all of a sudden they heard this-- this splash and then everyone was like "wahey."
Sandra: Wow. Wow. And they'll be chasing the boats as well. They play-- they swim alongside the boats. But Mull--
Rosie: Yeah. 'Cause their little motor boat went out and then they were like--
Sandra: Mull must be one of the-- the most filmed of the-- the islands near Oban because of the otters, because of the white tailed sea eagle.
Rosie: Yeah, there's actually-- um, there's actually signs on the road that, like "beware otters crossing", like, instead of-- not even, like, children crossing but it's otters.
Sandra: School crossing.
Rosie: Yeah.
Sandra: Otters crossing the road, well that's lovely.
Rosie: But that-- my Papa, he-- that happened to him, he got stopped-- he had to stop for otters to cross the road.
Sandra: A family?
Rosie: A wee family, yeah.
Sandra: Wow.
Interviewer: Amazing.
Rosie: Which is nice.
Interviewer: So you've got quite rich wildlife then?
Sandra: Yes.
Rosie: Yeah.
Sandra: Yeah, lots of-- and the basking sharks.
Rosie: And deers.
Sandra: Lots of deer.
Rosie: "Deers", oh God, deer. I can't believe I said that.
Interviewer: "Deers."
Sandra: Otters crossing the road, well that's lovely.
Rosie: "Deers"-- didn't mean that, I meant deer.
Sandra: The deers.
Rosie: The deers.

Kenny: That's right
Jackie: At Ganavan, in the sea, jumping off the-- off the slip
Kenny: Aye,
Jackie: and then--
Kenny: sometimes involuntary.
Jackie: I know, I-- that's how I learned to swim, getting pushed in.
Kenny: Get-- get-- thrown in, yeah, you know.
Jackie: But um, you know, and then when-- like, your mum and dad were-- were, um,
Kenny: Mhm.
Jackie: eh, growing up they got the pool and they learned to swim in the swimming pool.
Interviewer: Mhm.
Kenny: Mhm.
Jackie: So that was alien to us, we'd never had one. You know.
Kenny: Do you-- do you remember old [name]?
Jackie: Mhm.
Kenny: Eh, you know, she was-- she had Labradors and she-- that was her walk, past where the swiming pool-- And it was under construction at the time and they'd dug out the trenches for the foundations and she came-- said to-- "by Jove, they're fairly getting on with that, eh, swimming pool" and I says "aye, aye they're getting on, oh, fine." She says "they've got the lanes in already."
