So her Mum sent her up to her room. So she went up to her room, storming up, like, pounding on the stairs so folk knew she was going up the stairs and I was sitting on the couch with her wee brother eating dinner and all we heard was this trombone. She decided to play the trombone and her Mum was just, like, she was getting angry and me and [name] were just sitting like this, trying no to laugh, like, our faces were, like, scarlet 'cause we wanted to laugh so bad. And, oh, that was funny.

Sarah: Aye, and then--
Interviewer: Go in my room in a huff and take my anger oot on the trombone.
Eve: 'Cause her Mum used to always be like "you need to practice that trombone" and [name] was like "no, I don't. I'm fine." And then, when she gave her into trouble, she did practice it.
