I told them I was getting a dog. And I went "eh, I'm gonna go and get a dog." She's like "aye." It was April Fool's Day so I do understand why she thought I was joking. Picked [name] up and then we drove through to Glasgow to pick her up and then came home and I was like "look what I got" and that was that.
Interviewer:
Aw.
Jessica:
Yep.
Interviewer:
Yeah, my family's-- they're allergic so it's only certain breeds that you can have if you're allergic.
Jessica:
You can get a Lhasa Apso. Like, she's-- oh.
Interviewer:
Yeah. A lot of the little ones. I actually-- I really like Schnauzers. I want a Schnauzer. Like, if I get my own dog. They've got those sort of like grumpy faces.
Jessica:
Oh my God, I-- like, I want, like, the eye-- the big fluffy eyebrows and the big-- they're beautiful. Have you ever seen one?
Lucy:
I can-- I can picture it but--
Interviewer:
They're really cute. They're like the shape of, like, a Scottie dog so they're great.
Jessica:
I think they're beautiful.
Lucy:
Aye.
Jessica:
They're-- oh. They're so cute.
Lucy:
I've aieways liked big dogs though.
Interviewer:
Yeah.
Jessica:
Ken what I really want? I want a-- what are they called? Chow Chows? Like, the big fat ones.
Lucy:
Aye.
Jessica:
Are-- is that what they're called? Right, I want one of them. The big massive ones. Or I want a Newfoundland.
Interviewer:
Oh yeah.
Jessica:
Or a Saint Bernard 'cause they're adorable.
Lucy:
We saw one that was-- it was only a six month old puppy and it was-- like, when I was standing up and it was sitting down it was honestly up to about here.
Jessica:
Was it? Mhm.
Lucy:
It was massive. The guy at my work's got nine.
Jessica:
Nine?
Lucy:
Mhm.
Jessica:
What, does he stay in a big huge house?
Lucy:
He must have-- it's no a big house but he's got loads of land.
Jessica:
I would have hundreds.
Lucy:
But-- 'cause two of them had puppies and he kept them all.
Jessica:
Mhm, I would have keeped them all as well.
Lucy:
And then he gets some, like, transported over fae different countries and that.

Interviewer:

Tim:
so they've got to feed off this. But once a year or once every couple of-- they've got to drain it to clean it out and they found, what, three big snakes in it, eh?
June:
Three huge snakes. Really, really big. I don't know what they did with them but oh. And then they-- your cousin got one come in the house 'cause they had a cat flap on the door.
