He came into the kitchen and he'd, like, just got an email about, like, a booking and we had, like, a big table coming in and then he's like-- so he was just reading out his email and then I was like "oh Dad, what are you doing?". He's like "oh, I can receive my emails on my watch" and then he was like "and if I want, I can reply to the emails on my watch as well--" no "by speaking into my watch" and, eh, came up with a really rude reply. That-- and then-- and then he was-- and then he was like just as he (inc) and he, like, looked up and he went "no, no" and he started, like, hitting the watch and we were like "what?" and he was, like, screaming at the watch and hitting it and shouting like "no no no, what are you doing, what are you doing?" like that. And we're like-- we're like "what?" and he's like "it just sent" and then-- like, a really rude reply.
Cara:
What, it sent it to the customer?
Jodie:
Yeah and it just-- and he didn't press send or anything and it didn't check if that was what he wanted to say, like, it was like "effing something something" and it came up-- so, like, and didn't say, like, "are you sure you want to send this email?" or something it just said-- he just saw, like, "sending....." and then "sent" and a big green tick and he, like-- and then he was like "no!" and, like, ran over to his computer and was, like, looking on his computer if it had sent it and it was like-- he was like "I'm really really sorry, you know like, if you just received a rude reply. I was demonstrating to my daughter about my new watch and clearly the watch got it wrong." And then for, like, an hour later he didn't get a reply and this guy had been, like, replying quite quickly and stuff, and then for, like, an hour later he never got anything back and he was like "oh my God, he's really angry, he's really angry." He's like "why-- why aren't you replying?" and then-- and then he, like-- he got an email back saying "oh, I found it really funny, made my Monday morning" or something so I think he was quite relieved but--
Cara:
That's-- that's a relief. That's hilarious.
Jodie:
Yeah, it was so funny.
